Trying not to remember St Xavier’s
When I think of my days at St Xavier’s College I cannot but connect it with the time I got engaged to a city girl from Bombay in 1956. My fiancée invited her best friends to meet me at her home in Mahim.
When they were leaving I overheard them saying “Are you sure that you want to marry a guy with a receding hairline and an “anda-gunda” accent?

Its great to browse thru yr site.
St. Xavier’s seems to follow me everywhere.
Arun found a 1936 yearbook and its really freaky.
Mum stood first in the BA, dad first in the MA and
their pictures are on each side of the page. Is that
what they mean by the power of the Jesuits?
Regards to Thecla- hope to bump into you again
at the Cidade de Goa

Great to be connecting with you
Would really love critical evaluation of the postings on the site, specially from Arun
Bumping into each other at Cidade will only happen if I know in advance when you are visiting.
